Trekking Through Bhutan's Beauty: The Yaksa and Dagala Adventures

Liz, Terry, Mark & Catherine embarked on an unforgettable journey through the majestic Yaksa Trek, also known as the Jumolhari Loop Trek. They opted for luxury trek. While the original plan called for a 7-day trek, we decided to extend it to 8 days, ensuring ample time for exploration.

The second day of the trek, the walk from Shana to Soi Thangthangkha can be quite a challenge spanning a staggering 22 kilometers, taking about 8 to 9 hours. However, we split this day into two, to provide our adventurers a leisurely pace.
Apart from trekking, the group explored Thimphu, Paro, and an excursion to the highest motorable pass in the country – Chele La Pass at 3990 meters in Haa. The group loved trekking in Bhutan so much that they are coming back for the remarkable Dagala Trek.
